Paul Ramos, founder and visionnary, has a long experience in scuba diving.
1994: Paul created Ibiza Diving a five-star dive center, which became the number one dive center in Spain. Already then, Paul had upheld his concept of “comfort, service & safety”.
2006: Paul started a new diving challenge in French Polynesia with Vincent Coué as partner. This new adventure started with the purchase of the Bathy’s Club (another well-established dive center) in MOOREA in December.
2008: In March, Paul continued his expansion with a new operation on the island of TAHITI and in BORA BORA in October. All dive centers were based in the InterContinental Resorts.
2009: In January, he acquires TOPDIVE Bora Bora and all the other TOPDIVE centers in 2010 adding centers in the key diving destinations on the islands of RANGIROA and FAKARAVA.
2012: Paul buy out of 3 Blue Nui dive centers in Bora Bora, Manihi & Tikehau. With 13 dive centers on 7 islands, TOPDIVE is now the biggest scuba diving network in French Polynesia.
Today, with 10 locations on 5 islands, Bathys Diving has merged to become TOPDIVE-Bathys, then TOPDIVE a network of dive centers that guarantee you the best dives, with the best service and safety available in French Polynesia. TOPDIVE has even created a Dive "PASS" to uphold the concept of no-fuss, easy mobile, inter-island diving. This promises:
- Comfort : hot showers on site, personal lockers and changing rooms, no carrying tanks, fresh water showers on board and much more…
- Service : our dive centers are open all day and all year round with a dive shop where you can purchase diving equipment and dive merchandise. All our equipment is new and top-of-the-line from Aqualung, as well as customized boats dedicated to your diving convenience…
- Safety: we provide free Nitrox , dive gauges with integrated computers, not to mention a team of professionals and licensed skippers on board to insure surface safety while you dive…
