I scheduled two dives in Moorea today. The TOPDIVE dive center is located in the heart of the Intercontinental Hotel on the North side of the island, not far from the 2 famous bays of Moorea – Opunohu and Cook’s bay.

Lemon shark

The Lemon shark (Negaprion brevirostris) commonly named for its yellow brownish color, is more respected for its size that for its reputation. This giant of the seas measures 11.50ft and 400 lbs. Under the misconception that the lemon shark is a dangerous animal, it is rarely aggressive and every diver that encounters it is more awed than anxious by its presence.

TOPDIVE buyout of 3 Blue Nui dive centers in Bora Bora, Manihi & Tikehau

TOPDIVE Following the merger of Bathys diving and TOPDIVE in 2010, the TOPDIVE group of divecenters continues its expansion in Polynesia with the acquisition of three Blue Nui dive centers on Bora Bora, Manihi and Tikehau. As of March the 1st, TOPDIVE shall count 13 centers that will display the TOPDIVE logo.
